Most patients report that RF Microneedling is painless and comfortable. The tiny lacerations caused during treatment are generally so small that they may, at worst, produce some slight discomfort. A topical anesthetic may be used for patients who have difficulty with needles or who experience more significant discomfort.
In essence, a scar is ongoing, unhealed damage. Acne scars are no different. The RF Microneedling procedure encourages the healing of new and old wounds alike by increasing the production of elastin and collagen.
The RF Microneedling treatment can be adjusted according to the area being treated. Different frequencies and heat will be applied to areas based on how delicate the skin is, allowing it to be safe for areas under the eyes and on the forehead.
